Hello everyone!
There's a lot going on in this space and I thought it would be handy to share some information for those of you who may be interested in developing Android Apps.
A great place to start is to sign up for the Android Developer User Groups on Google Groups. I prefer getting one daily email of all activity, but it's totally up to you! You can set it to alert you as often or as little as you like.
First join up to Android Australia:

If you aren't on Android Australia then you won't know about the amazing party Nick Burton is organising to celebrate Australian Developers being able to sell Android Apps! November 3rd, mark your calendars! I will be there with Android cupcakes *yum*!
Your next stop should be the Melbourne Google Technology Users Group, which Leon looks after. There are always heaps of events and opportunities to meet other developers who are making fun and amazing stuff. If you're not in Melbourne you can search Google Groups for your local GTUG.

Your third destination should be the Android Developers Google Group - this is a global group, and you can check it out here:

I also find it handy to follow people on Twitter who are interested in what you are interested in creating! So why not follow Tim Bray, the Google Android Developer Advocate :)

If you have any other groups, blogs, or people you have found to be really handy please add them in the comments! :D
Ciao,
Tammy
